Carrier equipment is common across Louisiana, and i-Vu is Carrier's building automation system for it, available as on-premises i-Vu Pro, hosted i-Vu Cloud, or the compact i-Vu Express. Under it sit Carrier's BACnet controllers: TruVu programmable controllers and touchscreen displays, application controllers such as the RTU Open and the fan coil and water-source heat pump Open controllers, VVT and VAV zoning, and ChillerVu for chiller plants. Many existing Carrier buildings still run the Carrier Comfort Network (CCN), with equipment controls such as ComfortLink and PremierLink, and i-Vu supports both CCN and BACnet, so those sites can modernize without ripping everything out. Vertex installs and programs i-Vu systems, adds new Carrier equipment to existing ones, services CCN sites, and moves them to BACnet in phases.
